Delicious rum glazed cookies perfect for your next celebration. For a rum-free frosting, simply substitute milk for the rum.
Ingredients

½ stick unsalted butter, softened at room temperature

1.5 cups powdered sugar

1.5 tbsp white rum

1 tbsp milk of choice

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 packs Kim & Jakes Vegan Italian Cream Cookies

Gold sprinkles
-
Purple sprinkles
-
Green sprinkles

Optional: Gold, purple, and green food coloring
Note: for a rum-free frosting, simply substitute milk for the rum
Directions

Combine the softened butter and powdered sugar into a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to mix until combined.

Add the rum, milk, and vanilla extract. Continue to mix until you have a smooth frosting. If too thick, add more milk ½ tbsp at a time.

Decorate the cookies by spreading 1/2 tbsp frosting over each cookie, and sprinkling with Mardi Gras inspired sprinkles. To swirl food coloring, drop one small drop onto the frosted cookie and gently swirl with a fork.
